Absolutely avoid this service! I rented a truck in a deplorable state. No one answered when I reported the problem. I broke down with that same truck and endured a two-hour ordeal during a move—you can imagine the stress! No one competent answered the phone; when I did get through, it was to tell me to rent a truck at Super U. I filed a complaint that took a month. They made me an offer, but they were clearly mocking me. I don't usually do this kind of thing, but seriously, if you go somewhere else, go for it. This company shouldn't even exist anymore.

Regarding the vehicle, which has a certain value, I find it shameful to have found the truck in such a dirty state, both inside and out, for a rental cost of €1600. I therefore cleaned it at my own expense before using it. Furthermore, the vehicle required AdBlue. As for returning the vehicle, we were left to fend for ourselves without any checks from anyone. I don't know if you intend to continue this arrangement? What a shame...

A very disappointing experience with City-Drop. The car I rented had several problems from the start (engine warning light on, strange engine behavior, broken glass in the interior). Despite this, I was charged over €700 for a simple, superficial scratch on a fender. The photos I provided to justify the damage were blurry and unclear, making the assessment highly questionable. After several exchanges, I finally received a €50 goodwill gesture as a refund, but the overall experience remains disappointing. I strongly advise against using City-Drop: a small scratch can cost you dearly, and their customer service is extremely inflexible.

Excellent, clear instructions, clean vehicle inside, everything was well explained/defined, I was able to move up the pick-up time by giving advance notice... Great service, good value for money for my needs (one way Nice --> Marseille)

Honestly, I loved City Drop and I highly recommend it. It's easy to use, fast, direct, and it works. Everything is designed to save you time and energy, and it's by far the best value for money on the market for a day rental. Everything was really great, I have absolutely no complaints. Thank you!

I strongly advise against using them. During my move, the rearview mirror glass was cracked. Instead of €20 per glass, they charged me €450. It's highway robbery! No one to talk to about it. No estimate provided. Terrible system; choose a more reputable company.

Disastrous experience. I couldn't unlock the vehicle with the app or remotely through the rental company ("network problem, device issue, etc..."). I had to cancel the reservation and wasted a whole day. Thanks a lot, City Drop, and never again will I use their so-called "connected services" that only work when they feel like it. Go to a physical office with a human agent, which is what I'll do for my move. Avoid them at all costs.

One-way trip of over 1000km. I couldn't find anything cheaper. The truck initially scheduled was out of service. The operators found a solution for allocating and transferring the vehicle, which was an hour away from the intended location. There was a 4-hour delay compared to the scheduled time. It took time to find a transporter. A major drawback was the operators' accessibility. On the phone, you get an AI that you have to explain the same thing to repeatedly, only to end up with no one answering. Email is easier. In any case, the operators do call back. However, picking up the truck, the trip, and returning it went very smoothly. The app is excellent, very intuitive, and very easy to use. The truck was clean and equipped for moving, with tie-down rings. Overall, a good experience and, above all, good service at a reasonable price.
