Very pretty beach in Pornic (44) with a quality bar and restaurant, accessible in every respect except for the parking lot, which is rather difficult to find beforehand.

van was available where and where indicated. return was easy and smooth. i had to extend by one day because i was one hour late and did not want to risk being in "overtime", the process was easy and the extra-day price was fair.

Very satisfied with the vehicle. However, we encountered two significant problems: The first occurred when picking up the vehicle. My Apple X mobile phone couldn't open your application because the update wasn't available. Luckily, my wife had a newer phone which resolved the issue, as I don't know what I would have done if I had been alone. The second problem arose when returning the vehicle in Tarnos. We spent over an hour in the rain taking and retaking photos, always getting an error message in the end. We were about to leave without locking the vehicle when we finally learned via a phone call that the problem was with your server! I think this warrants some form of compensation from you. Furthermore, what would happen in a similar situation if we hadn't been able to resolve it ourselves?

Renting through City Drop is simple in terms of website usability and vehicle availability. It's important to thoroughly check the vehicle's condition, take photos, and of course, take good care of it. This is why it's beneficial to choose the option that offers the lowest deductible in case of an incident. Sometimes you have to travel several dozen kilometers if you book in advance, as vehicle availability can sometimes be limited.

The truck was in excellent condition, reliable, and available quickly, even from Paris. It was a bit more expensive than the competition, but at least the truck was available in the city center within 10 days. However, there's one major drawback that's particularly frustrating, especially in the city: the AdBlue warning becomes unbearable and makes every trip start unpleasant. Finally, the app is a bit outdated, and I had trouble confirming that the truck was properly locked.

Renting a van for my son's trip from Nîmes to Paris was easy. Picking up the vehicle and returning it was simple, everything was managed through the app. A good experience, I recommend it.

I rented a van for two hours, but due to particularly heavy traffic, I was forced to extend my reservation by an extra hour to avoid being penalized for returning the vehicle late. This extension cost me €49, compared to €50 if I hadn't requested it myself. I find the price exorbitant and wouldn't have been surprised to pay €5 or €10 more, but paying as much as if I had extended the rental for just one hour is excessive and wasn't clearly stated during the booking process. This was my first time using City Drop, and it will certainly be my last, as will the negative recommendation I will be making to others.

DO NOT RENT FROM CITY DROP, THEY'RE REFUSING YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT! At CityDrop, the check-in and check-out inspections are based solely on photos taken by the customer. I followed this procedure meticulously, photographing the vehicle from the same angles at both the start and end of the rental, as requested on the app. These photos, which I can provide, clearly show no difference between the beginning and end of the rental. No dents, no additional scratches, no identifiable damage. Despite this, CityDrop decided to withhold my security deposit and charge me over €300 extra, claiming there was an impact. The most problematic aspect is an email from them stating that "this does not depend on the visibility of the impact on the vehicle," which is tantamount to asserting that invisible damage, and therefore not materially proven, could still be charged. This position is completely contrary to all legal obligations regarding the justification of security deposit deductions and appears to reveal a particularly questionable billing method. On December 1st, we sent a formal notice demanding the return of our security deposit and proper documentation. On December 2nd, CityDrop responded with a message that I consider an attempt at intimidation, lacking any evidence or contradictory photos. Their response relies solely on assertions and pressure tactics aimed at extorting money from me. At this stage, CityDrop provides no proof, even though the burden of proof rests with them. Their argument that the visibility of damage is irrelevant is particularly alarming and suggests that the company might impose imaginary fees. If this is the case, I believe it constitutes an aggressive and abusive business practice. I consider the withholding of my security deposit, combined with this unjustified additional charge, to be a direct financial loss, and also a practice that could affect other consumers. CityDrop has put us in a very uncomfortable situation, in the middle of moving and with the holidays approaching. Do not rent from them; save your time and money.
